Why should I use a financial adviser?

We have the knowledge and experience to get you the best outcome. We are independent and
impartial which means that we are not constrained to one product or provider.

This also means that we have many options available to suit your specific needs, unlike most banks we are not constrained to offering a limited number of products that may not be the best fit for your needs.

How much do you charge?

We offer a complimentary initial 1-hour meeting to see how can help. This initial meeting is free of charge. We are happy to meet either in person or online if you prefer.

For Mortgage, Insurances and KiwiSaver advice we generally do not charge you a fee as we are paid by these companies in the form of upfront and trailing commissions.
We charge an upfront fee for Financial Planning starting from $1200 + GST and ongoing Investment Management is charged between 0.6%-1.0% per annum of the total funds under management.

Any costs or fees will be provided to you before we begin working with you so that there are no unexpected costs or surprises.

Can you review what I have in place now?

Yes, we are more than happy to provide an obligation free assessment or your current Insurance and lenders at no charge to you.

Do I need to have saved a lot of money to invest?

No, we work with clients at the start of their financial journey as well as experienced investors.

Most of our clients come to us with specific goals in mind however if you are unsure about what your financial goals are then we are happy to help you figure out what realistic goals are possible.

Can you help me take control of my finances?

Yes, we can help you take control of your finances and put structures in place to help you get on top of your finances and become financially fit.

What happens once we work together?

Our advisers all follow the internationally recognized 6 step advice process. This process starts with us meeting and discussing your financial situation and goals. We then review this info and determine the best provider based on your needs and present our recommendations. Once you have decided to proceed with the advice either in full or partially, we will work with you through to the application
stage.

Once the recommendations are in place, we will catch up annually for a review (annual
reviews are free of charge). We can also catch up more frequently to track progress and review if required (please note that this may incur additional charges of $150 + GST per hour).

Complaints Process

We are committed to providing you with the best, relevant and personalised advice to help you reach financial success. Your success is our success. If you are not happy with the advice that we have provided you, please get in touch with your adviser with your concerns.

If you do have a complaint, then please put this complaint in writing to info@fitted.co.nz and we will
get back to you with a response within 48 hours of receiving your complaint.

If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you can make a formal complaint with our independent complaint resolution scheme – Financial Services Complaints Limited.
